Tomorrow evening from 5pm to 8pm at One City Hall Plaza, Boston will host its ninth GospelFest, a free music showcase that features the inspiring sounds of contemporary and traditional gospel performers from both near and far.
Boston’s local gospel scene will be represented by LeRoy Streat with Grace. The group specializes in the Christian worship music that Streat has been writing, playing, and producing for more than fifteen years, in addition to his work leading music ministries both in the United States and abroad. There’s a lot from my childhood I don’t recall, but three things I do remember quite clearly: going to the beach the first time, going to Coney Island the first time, and going to the circus the first time. I always grow a little happier whenever the circus comes to town because I hope the children who get to see it will remember their first time forever, too.
